1. Maintain the Battery Properly to Preserve Power Capacity

Proper battery care is the foundation of maximizing range. In daily use, adopt partial charging and discharging habits by recharging when the battery level drops to around 20%–30%, rather than waiting until it is completely depleted. Avoid leaving the battery fully charged for extended periods or keeping the charger connected unnecessarily after charging is complete. During cold weather, park the vehicle indoors whenever possible. A short charging session before riding can help warm the battery and reduce the loss of range caused by low temperatures.

Regularly inspect battery terminals and connections to ensure they remain clean, dry, and free from corrosion. If the vehicle is not used for a long period, recharge the battery approximately once a week to prevent excessive self-discharge and slow capacity degradation. In addition, avoid relying on fast charging too frequently. The higher charging current of fast chargers can accelerate cell wear over time. For short-distance commuting, using the original standard charger is generally the better option for long-term battery health.


2. Optimize Riding Habits and Vehicle Condition to Reduce Energy Consumption

Smooth and efficient riding can significantly improve battery range. Accelerate gradually, maintain a steady speed whenever possible, and avoid frequent hard acceleration or sudden braking. When approaching uphill sections, increase speed smoothly in advance rather than demanding high power from the motor at the last moment. Keeping the vehicle load reasonable is also important. Avoid carrying unnecessary weight or installing excessively heavy accessories and cargo racks.

Maintain proper tire pressure according to the manufacturer's recommendations, as underinflated tires greatly increase rolling resistance and energy consumption. Regularly inspect the braking system to ensure there is no brake drag that could waste power while riding. When electrical accessories are not needed, switch off headlights, USB charging ports, heated grips, and other auxiliary devices to minimize unnecessary battery drain.

If possible, choose lightweight components and accessories to reduce the overall vehicle weight. A lighter vehicle requires less energy to accelerate and maintain speed, ultimately helping to extend the actual riding range on a single charge.
